Hey friends! I hope you all had an awesome vacation and started the new school year full of energy! I’m so happy to be back with you and to tell you about the cutest book by author Zacharie Malek that’s going to melt your heart.
So, today, I’m going to share a little secret… I discovered Operation Mister Tickles, and ever since, I can’t stop smiling! You see, it’s the story of Timmy, a 2-year-old boy, and his dad, who’s trying really hard to cheer him up because his mom is sick. His dad is so funny! He comes up with all sorts of ideas to make Timmy laugh, and honestly, he’s full of surprises! As for Timmy, he doesn’t want anyone tickling him, but his dad will do anything to change that. And guess what? It’s both super funny and absolutely adorable!
I love Timmy; he’s so cute with his little face when he’s pouting. It’s like he’s trying to stay serious, but he can’t for long with such a goofy dad. It’s so sweet to see how his dad does everything to bring a smile back to his face. And then, there’s the famous moment when Mister Tickles shows up! He’s a soft, cuddly stuffed animal, and oh my gosh, it’s so hilarious to see how he makes Timmy laugh even though he doesn’t want to.
But what’s even cooler is that this book reminds me of my little brother, who’s 1 and a half! Yep, I have a tiny brother, and I love him to bits! And guess what? I love reading him stories before bed, too. Operation Mister Tickles is one of our favorites for that! As soon as I start reading and get to the tickling parts, my brother bursts out laughing and wiggles around everywhere! It’s so cute! Every time, we do the same thing: I read the story, then I start tickling him, and boom! Another round of guaranteed giggles! It gives me tons of fun ideas for making up games with him. Sometimes, we play The Kissing Monster or Operation Mister Tickles, and it’s so much fun!
Honestly, this book is perfect if you love sweet and fun stories full of tickles. Timmy and his dad are so lovable, and I’m sure you’ll fall for them just like I did! This book is truly a little dose of happiness, and I promise you won’t be able to stop smiling while reading it.
