As for me, after eating a tasty breakfast of fried eggs and bacon that I shared with my magical strawberries, I was about to read them a Christmas story called « The Enchanted Snowman. » However, before I even had time to open the book, I received a gossip alert! It came from Netberry, my internet specialist. Apparently, at 7 am, a threatening message targeting Milly Prapra was shared on social media! I looked into this story… I found the post that everyone is talking about. Here’s what it says:
“Milly, I am asking you to publicly declare that you are closing your Magic Bubbles Restaurant permanently tonight by 8 pm. If you do not comply, I will reveal serious and shocking things about your establishment! Think carefully.”

Are you out of your mind? Who dares to blackmail Mrs. Milly Prapra ? This person wants Milly to close my favorite restaurant, which is also so popular with the town’s teenagers? My poor strawberries and I could never live without their delicious magic burgers! Plus, I don’t know what this person is talking about, but I’m sure it’s all a bunch of lies! Ms. Milly Prapra has been in the restaurant business for years, and all Johnlanders know that she is a very honest woman.
Afterwards, I tried to calm down and spent the day at home, regularly checking the internet, but even after 8 pm, there was nothing new. I told myself that it must be just a bad joke from someone who wanted some attention. So I was able to sleep and had sweet dreams filled with whipped cream. The next morning when I woke up, I had another bad surprise! I saw that once again at 7 am sharp, a new message had been posted on “D”‘s account:
“I don’t like to be taken for a fool. Since Milly Prapra didn’t comply with my request, I’m going to give the Johnlanders proof today that the Magic Bubble Restaurant is a horrible place!”
When I read that, I grabbed my flying broom and headed straight for the Magic Bubble Restaurant. No way was I going to let this stranger hurt Milly! Once I got close, I asked Miniberry, who is my tiniest and most inconspicuous strawberry, to go inside the restaurant and watch all day for anything fishy. The time went by quickly, and at closing time, Miniberry came in to tell me that she hadn’t seen anything strange, but that she couldn’t watch everyone because there were so many customers. She even told me that Bobby Prapra, Mrs. Milly’s son, had skipped practice with the Johngold basketball team to see if his mom was fine.
And as luck would have it, when I returned home, I heard my cell phone, and guess who it was? Yes, “D” again! This time he shared a picture, and given the setting, it was taken at the Magic Bubbles Restaurant. In the picture, we see a plate of salad with a huge slug under the leaves! Yuck, that’s disgusting! Next to it, the caption says :
“What a scandal! Milly Prapra’s Magic Bubbles Restaurant should be avoided! Look what I found in my salad… I could have gotten sick! I have a lot more proof that this place doesn’t respect the hygiene rules, which I will publish in the upcoming days! “D” thought he was smarter than everyone else, but in doing so, he made a big mistake! I asked my Netberry Internet pro to get the restaurant’s surveillance camera footage for the entire afternoon. As I watched everything with my sharp eyes, I came across footage where a shady man is dressed in a big coat, a cap and a face mask. It was as if he wanted to hide his identity. I took a closer look at him, and you know what I noticed? One moment he reaches into his backpack and takes out a glass jar and throws a slug into his salad. Then he takes several pictures of his dish with his cell phone, and as soon as he’s done, he puts the slug back in the jar and hides it in his bag. Sorry, Mr. “D”, this time you are caught red-handed!
We sent this footage to Sheriff Hock Duck’s office who was able to quickly identify the stalker. It is Duncan Viber, a former employee of the Magic Bubbles Restaurant. He was fired from the establishment several months ago because he was very unhygienic in the kitchen, spoke badly to customers and was always late. However, Mrs. Milly Prapra had been very patient and had given him many chances to make up for it, which he ignored. He was arrested the next day by the police and the story was reported in the John News. I’m glad that everything worked out !
