At just 21 years old, Louis Lopez represents the new generation of talent ready to conquer Hollywood. Discovered by the company Ewing Power Production, this young French actor with striking charisma is about to make a lasting impression with two daring horror film projects. Between artistic challenges and full immersion, discover this ambitious young man.
Before taking on the big screen, Louis Lopez built his image in the world of fashion. As the face of Madison Color—a pioneering brand that integrates Braille into its clothing—he has embodied the values of inclusion and innovation promoted by the Mason Ewing Corporation for years.
Working with Madison Color taught me to see fashion as a universal language, he says.
An experience that strangely echoes his learning of sign language for Reytac’s 2 Rounds, a topic we’ll return to shortly.
At the same time, he represents Mason Ewing Couture, a fashion house known for blending haute couture and artistic boldness. These collaborations are far from incidental: they reveal an actor aware of his influence, capable of moving gracefully from runways to film sets.
In the horror feature Reytac’s 2 Rounds, directed by Mason Ewing and already partially filmed, Louis Lopez was cast to play Tim Taylor, a mute young man embarking on a fatal road trip with his friends to Palm Springs. The screenplay, combining suspense and mystery, follows a group of characters who get lost in the California desert and stumble upon an abandoned train station filled with dark secrets. A feature film inspired by true events and rumored to be the beginning of a long saga. For this demanding role, Louis had to master American Sign Language (ASL), a skill he approached with near-obsessive dedication.
Louis spent months working and immersing himself in the deaf community to make his performance authentic.
Shares a source close to the production. The result? The current rehearsal sessions reveal such a natural performance that some believed the actor was actually deaf. A remarkable feat, especially since Tim Taylor communicates only through facial expressions and gestures, turning silence into a powerful storytelling tool.
It’s a double challenge: conveying fear without saying a word, and grounding the character in realistic vulnerability.
Louis explains in an interview, adding that he’s eager to begin filming, as he will be playing one of the lead roles. His “heartthrob” looks and innocent aura—which have earned him comparisons to a young River Phoenix—contrast with the dark intensity of the events his character will experience.
While Reytac’s 2 Rounds puts him in the spotlight, Louis Lopez is far from done. In another horror feature, The Raven’s Circle, produced by Ewing Power Production—the very company that discovered him—he will play one of the main characters, Arthur Laurent, a young man trapped in a forest by two individuals with sinister intentions. This second project, still wrapped in secrecy, is said to blend folklore with twisted psychology.
According to details from his IMDb page and sources close to the production, the film will explore themes of survival and manipulation, with Louis at the heart of a growing tension.
Arthur is a complex role—both a victim and an unwilling hero, explains a crew member.
The actor, already used to physical roles, will undergo intensive training to prepare for escape and confrontation scenes. His goal? To break the cliché of the frightened teenager and instead portray a fragile resilience that blends fear and courage.
Horror is a mirror of our deepest anxieties. I want the audience to feel that humanity, even in the terror, he confides.
As the young man prepares to light up the screen, he can take pride in starting his American adventure at full speed, sharing the spotlight with renowned names from legendary Hollywood dynasties.
In both horror films, Louis Lopez will cross paths with Eric Roberts, a cult actor with an impressive filmography (close to 860 appearances in movies and TV series!). Older brother of Oscar-winning Julia Roberts (Erin Brockovich) and father of Emma Roberts (American Horror Story), Roberts’ experience on set will undoubtedly offer Louis valuable insight into acting and filmmaking.
Working with Eric is like attending a masterclass in dramatic intensity, Louis says.
Another notable collaboration: Calista Carradine, daughter of the unforgettable David Carradine (Kung Fu, Kill Bill), will join Louis in both films. For The Raven’s Circle, Louis will also share the screen with John Blyth Barrymore, part of the legendary Barrymore dynasty—he’s Drew Barrymore’s brother. John will portray Jordan Sawyer, a man haunted by traumatic events that took place in a cursed forest. This collaboration places Louis right at the heart of a century-old cinematic legacy, and it’s no coincidence—it reveals the producers’ confidence in his ability to hold his own alongside seasoned actors. For Eric Roberts, known for his impactful supporting roles, acting alongside a promising talent like Louis also symbolizes a passing of the torch. “It’s contagious energy,” Roberts reportedly said during a rehearsal, according to an anonymous source.
As for Calista Carradine and John Barrymore, their presence—deeply rooted in horror and family saga cinema—offers Louis unprecedented visibility. The Raven’s Circle, in particular, with its story unfolding across two time periods, from 1965 to 2015, becomes a metaphor for this bridge between past and future—Louis embodying the new face of a timeless genre.
With two lead roles in ambitious productions and unwavering commitment, Louis Lopez is not just another Hollywood face. He represents a new wave of versatile actors, ready to reinvent themselves to fully inhabit their characters. Between the chills of Reytac’s 2 Rounds and the darkness of The Raven’s Circle, one thing is certain: Hollywood has found in him a star that can shine… even in the shadows!
