Dear readers… buckle up and hide your water bottles! This week, a little cloud hovered over Alejandro Moya High School — and it had nothing to do with the weather… but everything to do with a food poisoning incident that nearly turned into a full-blown Jonathanland disaster!
It all began two days before the much-anticipated game between the Johngolds of Jonathanland and the formidable Black Eagles of Centralville. The excitement was palpable, practices were intense, and all eyes were on Bobby Prapra, the charismatic captain and tireless point guard of the Johngolds. The whole school was buzzing, the Golden Stars cheerleaders — led by the ever-stylish Lawna Grayson — were polishing their routines, banners were ready, and hope was in the air.
But… BOOM. The night before the game, disaster struck. Half the team was bedridden — and not because of overexertion. Oh no, my friends. Diarrhea, stomach cramps, cold sweats — all the symptoms of a powerful laxative poisoning. Yes, you read that right. Someone decided to play chemist… and let’s just say, it didn’t smell like lavender in the locker room, if you catch my drift.
Very quickly, Lody Gann, Jean-Sébastien Stoffel, Sidney Silva, Arthur Young, Mason Baker, and Eli Lopez were among the first hit. Lenny Boom and his brother Penny were the most severely affected — a real disaster in the… lower back department. Suspicions rose as quickly as the temperature in the nurse’s office.
And the worst part? A scribbled note found in the locker room:
Good luck without your intestines, losers. — A friend from Centralville.
Scandal. Accusations. Rumors. Students were quick to cry foul.
The Black Eagles sabotaged us!
Echoed in the hallways. Some even suggested canceling the match or filing a complaint. But amid the chaos, Bobby Prapra kept his cool.
Hold on. If it was them, it’s too obvious… And why leave a note? Smells like a setup.
He said calmly, while handing out water bottles and activated charcoal to his teammates.
We won’t accuse without proof. Lawna, can you help us?
Enter Lawna Grayson, captain of the Golden Stars and high school superstar. She’s so popular that even teachers can’t resist her charm. In just a few hours, she launched her own investigation. Quiet but efficient, she questioned students, scoured social media, and mobilized her fellow cheerleaders like a squad of glittery mini-skirted spies. And what she found… was shocking.
Because guess what? The culprit — or rather, the culpritess — was none other than Sasha, Lenny Boom’s girlfriend. Yep. This sweet and seemingly charming student had a deep, simmering grudge.
Why? Because dear Lenny had forgotten their anniversary. Instead of taking her out for ice cream as promised, he… went to basketball practice. Sasha felt humiliated, rejected, invisible. So in a moment of impulsiveness, she swiped a packet of ultra-strong laxatives from her older brother and slipped them into the team’s water bottles, thinking it would be “just a joke.” A harmless revenge, she thought. But she hadn’t expected things to go that wrong.
Once exposed by Lawna, Sasha broke down in tears and confessed everything. Accompanied by her parents, she apologized to the entire Johngolds team. A moving moment that left everyone speechless.
And the most surprising part? Lenny Boom, still pale and clutching his stomach, held her hand and said:
You scared me… but I know you did it because you were hurt. We’ll talk about it. And don’t worry… next year, I’ll send you a giant bouquet with a banner!
As for Bobby Prapra, he praised the team spirit and the wisdom of not giving in to panic.
This is a lesson: even in a crisis, we must seek the truth before blaming anyone.
In the end, despite stomach troubles and panic, the game went on — a bit slower, granted — but with honor. And even though the Johngolds narrowly lost, they earned the respect of all Jonathanland.
And me, your favorite Miss Tagada, I’ll say it loud and clear: in life and in sports, honesty, patience… and a good sense of humor make all the difference!
See you next time, my little snoops!
Your devoted witch,
Miss Tagada
