Dear readers, it’s me again, Miss Tagada, your favorite witch, always ready to share the juiciest secrets of Jonathanland! And let me tell you, this start to 2025 has been explosive. I don’t even have time to say “Happy New Year and good health,” do you know why? Because an evening that was supposed to be a festive turning point turned into a show of revelations as crispy as a cookie fresh out of the oven. Hold on tight to your pointy hats, because what I’m about to tell you will shock you.
It all began with the announcement of Lawna Grayson, the most popular girl at Alejandro Moya High School. Captain of the Golden Stars cheerleading squad, crowned beauty queen every year since her youth, Lawna knew how to organize memorable events. So, when she announced her New Year’s party, no one wanted to miss it! Among the guests were her inseparable friends: Ashley Grant, Bianka Cook, Louane Madison, Sarah Ewing-Johnson, and Kimberly Tilmann (the sister of the infamous Eli Tilmann, but we’ll get back to him very soon, tagada-ha-ha). On the boys’ side, the parade included stars from the Johngold basketball team: Captain Bobby Prapra, also Lawna’s boyfriend, along with teammates Lody Gann, Sidney Silva, Jean-Sébastien Stoffel, Lewis Newman, and many more. In short, all the trendy young Jonathanians were there.
And of course, among the guests was Eli Tilmann. Accompanied by his inseparable companions, Logan Lost and Johnny Glanderwood, he walked into the magnificent Grayson house, hand in hand with his official girlfriend, Ashley Grant. The loving looks and smiles they exchanged made more than one guest sigh in envy. Ah, how charming, teenage love! But you’re starting to know me, my dear readers: I already knew that something much spicier was simmering in the shadows.
The evening began perfectly. Lawna, the perfect hostess, radiated in her sparkling golden dress, very provocative. If I weren’t a strawberry witch, I’m sure she could’ve made me lose my head! Conversations flowed easily, between the latest school gossip and resolutions for the new year. The caterer’s dishes were delicious, the decorations were incredible, and even a DJ had been hired to set the mood! A real fairy tale! But in Jonathanland, fairy tales often have… let’s say, spicy endings.
Around 11:30 p.m., the highlight of the evening approached. A rumor had circulated among the guests: Lawna was preparing a spectacular surprise. All eyes turned to her as she announced triumphantly,
My dear friends, get ready to discover a dessert like you’ve never seen before!
The lights dimmed, and a perfectly uniformed waiter pushed a huge silver cart to the center of the room. Everyone gathered around, very curious. I would’ve bet my broomstick that things weren’t going to go well. And you know what? I was right, as always.
Lawna lifted the enormous lid with a beaming smile, revealing a gigantic, magnificent pink and gold cake, the colors of her Golden Stars cheerleading team. However, it wasn’t the perfect frosting or the refined decorations that caught the guests’ attention. No, it was the message written on it, in bright red letters, that landed like a bomb:
Ashley Grant, beware of appearances! Eli Tilmann isn’t very faithful, he’s in love with Laurie. Plus, I have proof.
A chilling silence followed. The guests, frozen in shock, stared at the cake as if it were about to explode. Then the whispers started, slowly at first, before turning into a full-blown tumult: “Laurie? Who’s Laurie?” “Eli did this? Impossible!”
As for Eli, he turned as red as a ripe strawberry. It looked like he was trying to blend into the walls, but that was impossible with all the eyes on him. He mumbled excuses to Ashley, who stared at him, incredulous. “I… I don’t know where that came from!” he stammered. Oh, poor Eli, it was unpleasant to see you like that! I was sure those were lies.
Lawna, furious that her cake had been sabotaged, demanded that the person who dared write such a message come forward. But of course, only silence followed… Meanwhile, Eli, Logan, and Johnny decided to conduct their own investigation. They interrogated some guests, searched the area for clues, but found nothing. Not a trace of the mysterious culprit.
Despite the awkward atmosphere, the evening continued as best it could. The guests tried to distract themselves, but the lighthearted mood of before had disappeared, replaced by side glances and constant whispers. Ashley, for her part, seemed troubled, although Eli managed to reassure her.
Then, at exactly midnight, as fireworks exploded in the sky, Eli’s phone vibrated. A message from an unknown number appeared:
So, Tilmann? Didn’t you like my surprise? It was a pleasure to see your face crumble. This is just the beginning… signed, C.
C, who are you? A vengeful soul? A betrayed ex? A jealous friend? So many possibilities. One thing is for sure, my dear readers: the mystery is only just beginning. And I, Miss Tagada, will be there to reveal every detail. After all, in Jonathanland, appearances are never what they seem… and secrets always come to light.
With all my mischief,
Miss Tagada
