In January, everyone tells themselves:
“New year, new goals, new chances, new joys…”
We all hope that beautiful things are coming our way. And yet, sometimes, we forget what truly matters.
We forget those extraordinary women who gave us life, the ones without whom nothing would have begun, our moms.
At Toombow Kids, we asked ourselves a very simple question: Who is the woman you respect the most in the world?
So we took to the streets of Los Angeles, microphone in hand and hearts wide open.
And then… surprise (or maybe not). Almost everyone answered without hesitation:
“My mom. She’s the most amazing woman in the world. Sometimes she’s tough, sometimes strict… but I love her more than anything.”
According to our little survey:
90% of people named their mom as their hero
10% mentioned their girlfriend as the most important woman in their life
But for Toombow Kids, there is only one true title: Super Mom!
Because let’s be honest… A girlfriend may come and go.
But a mom?
She’s the one who carried us for 9 months, the one who watched over us at night, the one who wiped away our tears, the one who sometimes scolded us… but always loved us.
And sometimes, the one who chose to love a child through adoption, with an open and generous heart.
Without a mom, how do we grow?
How do we learn to love, to fall, and to rise again?
How do we become ourselves without that reassuring look that tells us everything will be okay?
Today, Toombow Kids wants to say thank you to all the moms around the world, for their patience, for their strength and thank you for their unconditional love.
To all these women who never hesitate to love us, protect us, and believe in us…
You are, and will always be, our super moms
